Invitation

This event will be held virtually

Dear Participant,

In March of this year, Barclays launched the ESG Supply Chain Sustainability|Global Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Showcase Series. The Opportunity Showcase, the first in this two-part series, and a first for Barclays, was designed to announce business challenges to strategic intermediaries who, in turn, crowd-sourced diverse suppliers capable of meeting those challenges.

You are invited to join us for the Capability Showcase, part two in the series, from 13 – 15 July, where we’ll spend time getting to know these high-potential diverse suppliers from around the world, sharing our successes working with other diverse suppliers and offering venture development and growth content to guests.

This exciting three day event will

  • match pre-screened diverse suppliers with one-on-one meetings and/or pitch sessions with Barclays procurement, internal business and functional partners as well as prime supplier and client representatives. Where a match has been made, suppliers will be notified of interviews and pitch sessions by 23 June
  • showcase diverse suppliers doing great work for Barclays and contributing to the well-being of society
  • provide attendees with helpful information to understand how we’re thinking about ESG and what we’ll be expecting of all third-party providers
  • offer helpful strategies in controlling for risk, competitively positioning proof-of-concepts, and request for proposals, creating operational scalability and positioning entrepreneurial ventures for access to capital and banking solutions

Barclays' ESG Supply Chain Sustainability|Global Supplier Diversity & Inclusion initiative leverages a network of strategic intermediaries and registered suppliers in the Barclays Supplier Marketplace (barclays.com/supplierdiversity) to locate some of the most innovative and diverse entrepreneurial ventures in the global markets we do business. The Showcase Series leverages this information to match diverse suppliers with Barclays decision-makers and business partners - helping us solve real business challenges in a meaningful and thoughtful way.

Space is limited so register now to join this exclusive event.

Note: If you have been selected for a one-to-one meeting or pitch session, you will be notified in separate communications by 23 June. All suppliers are welcome to attend, whether a match has been made or not, as ongoing consideration for future meetings will be given to those registered in the Barclays Supplier Marketplace. We will not be able to respond to unsolicited inquiries regarding the potential for an interview or pitch session for this event.
